One of the few remaining mills that hasn’t “accidentally” burned down yet. River Colne, Huddersfield.

I’m in Primrose Hill now, which isn’t as nice as it sounds.

Actually it looks better from this side with a bit of minimal trespassing. The rest of the mill burned down “accidentally” couple of years ago, with only the tower escaping.

Huddersfield from Castle Hill. We used to have to come up here on school cross country. Although in my case it was more like a nice walk in the countryside instead of lessons.

Castle Hill in the distance is the highest point on the route. If the tower is open I’ll be going all the way to the top at 1000ft above sea level. I’m I’m still alive by then.

I’ve drunk plenty of Tennant’s over the last year and enjoyed it. I didn’t enjoy this though 😂. I had the Session and thought it was dreadful, but was told the lager was ok.

Amid the celebrations when #htafc went 2-0 up against Manchester United in October 2017 I turned to The Boy and said “Enjoy this moment, because it’ll be all downhill from here”.

I was criticised at the time for being negative, but it looks like being even worse than I predicted.

Apparently the lager was ok, but I had the Session and it was dreadful. And that’s not just the beer snob in me talking; it was shite.
