- More disguise: Creepers and backend-disguised blitzes. The Patriots dropped White in coverage at times, and they will likely continue to do that with versatile players. Adding a veteran to the secondary will also help with this.

- 4 Down front: A much more aggressive unit. A big factor here is Christian Barmore's health and what they can do to in Free Agency to add athletic LBs that can cover.
Under McDaniels I expect:
- Increased expectation from Maye to make presnap reads
- Under center power runs setting up PA
- Utilize Maye’s mobility: RPO’s, Bootlegs, move the pocket
- Progression reads vs man coverage
- Route options for the WR’s

It was the right decision. McDaniels had a lot of success in New England, and has a history of developing quarterbacks (just look at Mac Jones' rookie season).
He was the favorite all along, and Vrabel got his guy
