If ICE has the directive to go into schools, I foresee the following. A parent receives a phone call from their child’s school. They are told that ICE has detained their child, and will hold them indefinitely, until the parent turns themselves in for deportation.

It appears some Republicans want to treat specific neighborhoods in DC like some neighborhoods in the Middle East. Empty them out, bulldoze them. Cut development deals with favored companies to build hotels, condos, offices & shopping. Then let the dislocated back in, to fill the menial jobs.

Question: Are there any Democrat Texas legislators that are actually hiding? It seems many who have left the state are living openly, in known locations & even doing press conferences. Some are still in their districts in Texas.

What gives? Is it all to give MAGA & the MSM something to obsess on?

With the changes Trump is making in the Rose Garden and rest of White House, I think he may be setting up for a “special” fee-based credential system for the White House.

In other words, he’s starting the move to make the White House into a private membership club.

I’m thinking by this time next week the United States, or at least the current Executive branch, may have effectively switched sides in the Ukraine/Russia conflict.

The regime will call for Ukraine giving up the seized territory, begin lifting Russian sanctions, and cut back on aide to Ukraine.

They must be protected if they choose to speak out. Many were already threatened at the time they were abused. There’s a legion of trolls ready to attack them and lawyers to harass and sue them, probably including the DOJ.

If (when) the courts step up & rule the Trump can’t use tariffs as a cudgel against nations or businesses he doesn’t like, what’s next? The MAGA House may try to give him unlimited power, but until something changes it won’t pass the Senate. Without tariffs he’s helpless on the world stage & at home

I think it’s for when he doesn’t leave office.

By the time Trump is done, US troops will be occupying Ukraine. Putin & he will make a “peace” deal without Ukraine, who will categorically reject it. Trump will send US troops to be a “peacekeeping” force. It’s real objective will be to block Ukraine from fighting the occupation of its territory.

How soon will any measuring atmospheric CO2 be banned in the US?

Don’t put it past one of the MAGA Supremes to suggest we need to bring back some form of the 3/5s rule. Perhaps as a compromise to include the undocumented.

In a just world, he’d be in the dock in a US court, or perhaps one in The Hague.

If they then say “the victims” the follow-up is “Why aren’t any of the victims attorneys on attendance.”

I’m going to love it when the DOJ refuses to release the tapes of the Vance/Bondi/Blanche/Patel meeting about Maxwell. I get the feeling one of them offhandedly may say “Attorney-Client privilege”.

And buried deep in the article is the factual information the contradicts the headline.

The people are saying “Do something!” Moderates are not responding, just as the Republicans are not doing anything except help the oligarchs and Christian Nationalists.

Progressives are actually proposing to do something & that seems to scare some Moderates more than they’re scared of Republicans.

I’m in a state of mind & preparedness similar to early 2020. Things are going to be getting worse & I’m trying to get my family ready financially & socially. Donald Trump & his regime are a plague spreading across America, impacting all & causing death among the vulnerable. We must find the cure.

I believe this is a misreading of the situation. The fact that Bluesky has not been overrun by bots & trolls is somehow being posited as a bad thing.

Quality over quantity is not a concept given much consideration in social media. I understand why (monetization), but perhaps other models are valid.

When will someone from the DOJ respond to the question of why the victims of Epstein & Maxwell are not being consulted or included in their discussions?
I bet their answer may be that since DOJ already “represents” them, the victims involvement is unnecessary. The DOJ is just dumb enough to say that

Someone may need to do a wellness check on Alex Acosta soon. I’ve seen no news on where he is or what he’s doing. If there’s an expendable and troublesome loose end in the Epstein tapestry it’s someone like him.

I shudder to think of the harassment, threats and even physical danger these women will face when they speak out, from the current regime, right wing media, politicians and trolls. I hope they can withstand the onslaught.

So Trump ordered a new census. Have the lawsuits challenging it been filed yet? They will be, within days. Trump will proceed, regardless of any action by lower courts. Trump will also immediately file an emergency appeal to the Supreme Court.

The game is afoot.

In this regime? Skin color will be his proof of citizenship. Or not. Census takers will go door to door with a color chart.

He wants a rooftop stage where he can give speeches to the masses. Like the Pope’s balcony. Or the one in Nuremberg used by that German guy.

I understand Vance’s dinner meeting with Bondi, Blanche and Patel to discuss the Epstein files and Maxwell is being catered by Comet Ping Pong pizzeria.

If not, it should be.

I hope they are being protected with some form of security detail. I fear a force of Texas or Federal agents may try to abduct them back to Texas.
