I mean yeah I could always emulate but that's not the point

I'm gonna try to take it to a retro game store to see if they can test their cables and games with it

so my SNES is broken. It will power on, but outputs just black video. It IS outputting data, since my TV shows black instead of "no signal", but just black. I tried cleaning the pins on the cartridge and on the console, but no dice.
Any ideas?
