That's cool. I'm down for a challenge but also appreciate some assists in certain areas that are annoyingly hard. It's more specifically FROM Soft has never really landed with me. I've played some soulslite inspired games that I've enjoyed more like deaths door & Jedi Fallen Order.

Just grabbed this as part of ps+'s august monthly games. I'm not much of a souls fan but am glad to be able to give this one a go. I've heard good things.

I thought it was a glitch. And was mad so I avoided playing it again for nearly a decade. I laughed so hard when I realized it was an equippable item. I just saw increased attack and defense but missed that they become uncontrollable. Lol

Loved it the 2nd time around. Haha

I bought the chromo cross remaster on switch. Plan on playing that soon

I'm late to the jrpg party. I grew in the 80s & hated rpgs

Thought they were boring, the chance element felt unfair & my extreme adhd still makes reading hard.

I persisted tho & it's my fav genre now. Only took 35 years lol

I attempted this game 10 years ago but softlocked myself not knowing how to play rpgs. I equipped the berserk rings and thought the game glitched out and set my team to auto attack. So I got to an unbeatable boss about halfway thru.

Beat the DS version 2 months ago and realized my error. Hahahaha

Finally fantasy time!

I played it just a few months ago with the DS version and very regularly would say to my friend who played it back when we were kids "This was a Super Nitendo game!?" The scale of it and the background art alone is unlike anything else I've played on that system.

Played thru it just a few months ago for the first time. I had attempted once before several years ago but got softlocked not knowing the berserk ring made my characters auto-attack. Lol

Played the ds version. The touch interface was great

I have an almost psychic level of perception and have talked/joked my way of several fights throughout my life

So some sort of bard or mentalist. low combat scores but can wound or heal with just a few words

Yeah. I flipflop from hoarding and careful curating. I usually stick with 1 big game and a few little ones on the side, but I'm juggling several big games. Haha

It's so hard to pick a fav. I loved 3, esp the DLC story. I do consider 2 my fav, I think it just hit me more on a personal level. 1 is amazing too and is what finally got me into jrpgs and it's my fav genre now
