The Facebook group 'Canadians United Against Hate' shared one of Rachel Gilmore's videos, the post describes the video as being about "How the far right and fascists are trying to make the ethnic cleansing of racialized Canadians more palatable."

Shared video post kept the words but removed the video. The words that remain say, "Yes, there are extremists trying to implement the same xenophobic "cleansing" here in Canada. Look out for their watered down terms and be aware of their true intent."

Ruffed Grouse settled down on Hugelkultur to watch me work, hoping to return to eating the hawthorn berries nearby. After passing by she was seen pecking at the mound and scratching. Very content ground bird. I hope she is seen again in spring with chicks! But just a few meters from where she rests is the fox den. A very lively 1/4 acre lot.

Bonus. Today there were black capped chickadees, red squirrels, a chipmunk, and a garter snake.

And it works! First time I had the chance to use this method with a grouse. Its worked before with song birds, snakes, wild turkeys and deer. I never hand out food so they do not have that expectation from me. Instead I build habitat and plant native foods. The grouse was here to eat hawberries. 3/3
