Okay so maybe that means I'm not judicious enough actually LOL. Yeah I should just drop books the moment any fraction of an alarm bell starts ringing in my mind from now on. We all could do ourselves a favor and stop spending time on things we don't enjoy.

I'm rather judicious when it comes to dnf-ing books I don't like. Then come these perfectly mid stories whose plots don't grab me but the writing is competent enough to convince me that oh—I should just read on, it'll get better. And then it doesn't and I kinda feel like a fool for wasting my time.
