3 skeins of purple yarn

The inspiration for this purple cutie came from late 90's sci-fi satire Galaxy Quest.

A movie I avoided for years, since I didn't think Tim Allen would be entertaining. But he does a great job being a William Shatner parody.

The nøkk are male water spirits, who played enchanted songs on the violin, with which they lured men, women and children to drown in lakes or streams. They weren’t always malevolent, but I like to imagine them at the very least as mischievous ✨

When we found these skeins of undyed Singularity Sparkle, I immediately knew I wanted to do some colorways inspired by vintage Science Fiction. ⁠

Back in the day, one of the first sci-fi flicks I watched was The Day The Earth Stood Still, and it still holds a special place in my heart.⁠

Amazingly minty green with pink, purple, and blue accents. I improvised this colorway together with some of my favorite colors, and it's no surprise that I love the end result immensely.
