I saw an incredible one-woman play years ago about a fighter pilot who is grounded while pregnant and becomes one of the early era drone pilots and it was literally about this, her slow shift away from seeing the people she drops bombs on as human from her cushy chair and big screen an ocean away

βWhy donβt you act as if Republicans are human beingsβ cause they ainβt anymore, if they want to rejoin humanity they can start taking steps that way but Iβm not holding my breath
Democrats should be grateful that they are seen as persuadable and potential allies as opposed to the alternative
I understand why some peoplesβ reactions to Blaming Democrats is βwhy arenβt you Blaming Republicans insteadβ
And my answer to that is, Iβm not going to post what I think should happen to Republicans because mollifying you is not worth the potential consequences

Why WOULDNβT you build another Death Star without the exhaust port?
It illustrates the entire goddamn fucking problem with fighting the empire head on.
Evil empires donβt have to be βcreative.β
Too many Khaleesis have been born for me to take that bet

Iβm not a huge fan of the Gen 9 starters, but Fuecoco incredibly cute and Skeledirge is incredibly cool (never mind the awkward middle stage)
Still, they were just *slightly* too fancy / high-concept all around. Interested to see if thereβs a course-correction for Gen 10.
But remember how I skipped MMPR Shredder? Wave 2 has a Shredder/Mechagodzilla! So I can get that in there without repeating any characters.
Iβm sure this was fascinating to all yall, so, youβre welcome
So Iβm on the lookout for a compatible MMPR/Zyu set that wonβt cost a fortune, but the good news is that using my SHMAs of Godzilla etc in the back of the shelf would make Dragonzord feel less essential.
So whither TMNTxGodzilla? Well to tell the truth I missed Wave 1 and Iβm not that sad about it.
Thatβs a whole different team of characters so itβs legit. So we got Raphael with the Tyrannosaurus powers, and Jason with the Rodan powers. Easy.
Sadly, my display centerpiece was SoC Megazord + Dragonzord, and somehow just from shelf wear Dragonzordβs arm broke off. Not loving that.
So, with the Kaiju Rangers dropping in a few days and wave 2 of TMNTxGodzilla dropping at some point, I have to do some Display Planning.
I have all of the TMNTxMMPR crossover figures except Shredder.
I want to get at least the 1st 3 Kaiju Rangers, and maybe all of them. But good news!
We are At War now, according to President Bush, and I take him at his word. He also says this War might last for "a very long time." Generals and military scholars will tell you that eight or 10 years is actually not such a long time in the span of human history - which is no doubt true - but history also tells us that 10 years of martial law and a wartime economy are going to feel like a Lifetime to people who are in their twenties today. The poor bastards of what will forever be known as Generation Z are doomed to be the first generation of Americans who will grow up with a lower standard of living than their parents enjoyed. That is extremely heavy news, and it will take a while for it to sink in. The 22 babies born in New York City while the World Trade Center burned will never know what they missed. The last half of the 20th century will seem like a wild party for rich kids, compared to what's coming now. The party's over, folks.

Of course itβs fucking poorly planned! Have you SEEN these people? They canβt plan a fucking frat party. But from your political perspective, that is not your fucking problem!
Your fucking problems are that a dictator is making you irrelevant and your constituents WANT PEACE.
The problem is that the Democrats EXPECT to benefit passively from being the βpeace partyβ but they wonβt actively denounce war or even openly concede that the GOP has a bigger war-boner than THEY do
Hence these pathetic triangulations on how US adventurism is βpoorly plannedβ
The Dem establishment needs to reflect long & hard how their PREFERRED opponent in 2016 and 2024 was able to outflank them to the left on US foreign policy belligerence and win, TWICE
It doesnβt do any good to point out the GOPβs full of shit. Theyβre always full of shit! Why did THIS shit STICK?
It's beyond any doubt that Trump has rejected diplomacy and seeks to forcibly eliminate Iran's regime, sending one clear lesson for world: If you have a nuclear weapon, you are safe from potential U.S. attack, and if you donβt have a nuclear weapon, you are vulnerable. trib.al/G74To44

28.02.2026 14:28 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0*there was an earnest but mistimed attempt to formally declare war on the USA *just* before the bombs fell on Pearl. You can decide for yourself if that makes anything better. If anything it makes the modern US doctrine feel even worse by comparison.
