EUFAWREADY went to Crete!

🦋From 6-12 July, 50 scientists gathered in Kolymvari for the 12th Lepidoptera Molecular Biology Workshop.

Onto WP7: Exploring Plant-Based and Natural Semiochemical Solutions for FAW Management in Europe. This WP is led by FORTH and, amongst other things, will develop novel natural semiochemicals for FAW biocontrol.

WP4, led by ECOBERTURA, focuses on the early detection and monitoring of FAW for a rapid response protocol.

WP3, Evaluating the impact of an invasion by FAW for Europe, is led by UNIBS. WP3 will define scenarios of FAW entry and spread, assess FAW abundance and assess the economic and environmental impact of FAW.
