New postdocs too. A lot of my cohort were in the middle of our PhDs when the shutdowns occurred. Now several of my friends are trying to find postdoc labs in this environment. It is going to drive young scientists out of science

Excited to share my dissertation work from the Stucky Lab! We found that keratinocytes drive touch pain caused by the chemo drug paclitaxel. Paclitaxel directly sensitizes keratinocytes to touch through PIEZO1! #PainResearch #touch @katesadlerphd.bsky.social
