Listening to WEEI this morn. about the situation in Foxboro around funding the $7M public safety tab for FIFA was infuriating. Municipal govts are not for-profit entities that just have that extra cash lying around. It's meant to be spent on services that benefit the community and reflect its voice.

According to PEW, teens in households making under $75K are more likely to use chatbots for help with all or most schoolwork. I read a comment on another platform that said this is amazing news because we are "finally going to close the achievement gap." That is not how I would interpret this data.

Part of the problem ihmo are the antiquated regulations and standards by which the stormwater infrastructure is built. It doesn't feel like it's caught up to the our new climate reality.

I know that may be the strategy at Garden City. Employees at Yankee Candle there told me they were leaving the center because they were jacking up the rent in what they believed was an effort to attract higher end, boutique stores.

Are forced to rely on so heavily to fund education and its infrastructure. Hopefully, the funding formula gets a legit look at the GA this session.

This is a no brainer. However, we need these committees to improve how they message to the public, who are still so attached to their neighborhood schools and see regionalization or merging as a threat.
