It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

Think I need to go into the office two days next week to catch up. Not fair for a ton of work to come in during tech/show week.

Kinda realizing that the government being shutdown might kinda be the countdown to shit popping off in the US. No idea what to do with that thought.

That feels like a very modern phrase.

So far all of these people are terrible. Far too much put on nonsense for the cameras. Hoping a few more days on the island they start to relax.

Just tuned into survivor and I hate what I’m seeing. They’ve continued to tune up the quirky factor. Not one bit of this feels authentic.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
