We’ve had a good run of regular wet weather, with 119mm of rainfall in January and a further 27mm so far this month, but with stable dry conditions for the foreseeable future this could be it. A sunny 19°C coupled with strong winds is already drying out the soils’ surface…

As someone who lives off-grid with my own renewable energy system, surrounded by renewable energy sources, yes!

They’re on for 98% of the time, and when they’re not then the solar panel farms are still harvesting clean energy; so there’s that.

An incredibly windy day here today, so much so that all the surrounding wind farms were “turned off”…
