The Longest Line Of Sight The place on Earth from which you can, in theory1, see further than any other is between an unnamed Himalayan ridge near the Indian-Chinese border and Pik Dankova in Kyrgyzstan. It is just over 530km.

Every time we go through a village that has, say, a post box with adjacent bus shelter we still shout 'Facilities!'.

Late night twangy atmospheric guitar stuff. No Vox! Can we say Lynchian? Have a listen. 16 tracks, all under 3 mins.

It worked. The pub is still there I think. Probably just annoyed people who weren’t going to drink there anyway.

They opened a bar in Sheffield with marketing along the lines of 'At last, decent beer in Sheffield' when the city had a longstanding excellent beer scene. It didn't go down well.

Good to see β€˜physical’ and β€˜big lads’ in there. Fans of other clubs seem to have forgotten this unchanging aspect of our side recently.

In my last job I dreaded any IT sales pitch getting through to management. They would get obsessed by all sorts of crap and waste everyone's time because they'd nearly always baulk at the ££ stage. Outside stuff always received a more favourable reception than in-house suggestions. FOMO was massive.

'They saw them on their dishes when eating': The mushroom making people hallucinate dozens of tiny humans Only recently described by science, the mysterious mushrooms are found in different parts of the world, but they give people the same exact visions.

With most psychedelic drugs, you never know what you're going to get. But this mysterious mushroom from China - without fail - causes users to hallucinate tiny people: crawling up walls, popping out from under furniture and marching under doors. www.bbc.com/future/artic...

Orca v yacht, by P. Vintin from the album Bot Food

Track 7.
Late entry. I was aiming for 8 tracks. 2 failed late on. Threw this together because 6 wasn't enough. Noisier. Guitars with FX. Shoegazey perhaps.

Track 3.
Don't know what I was thinking with this one. An outlier. Mild funk? Mellow, 'brass' stabs, yodelling sample (2nd chorus), clanking guitar solo with sonically pleasing conclusion. Nice.

Psych-rock? Without being particular psychy or rocky. Someone trying to do Harmonia without having heard them? Better comparisons welcome.
