I don't know if you seem to think I am disparaging the game, which I am not. I just mentioned that because some people believe RE should be in third person. Others really liked the first person perspective. So, a compromise! Best of both worlds.

Finished Resident Evil Requiem. Even after all these years, Capcom finds macabre new ways to unnerve me to the core. Leon's quips remain undefeated. Every Grace sequence is nail-biting, masterful tension. The first/third person hybrid was an astute compromise. Survival horror at its finest.
