I always considered Mogwai to be postrock with some shoegaze influences.

This green beauty has been seeing a lot of action behind the scenes at Starling HQ. In fact, this Danelectro baritone is the only guitar John has been playing lately, sparking at least three new embryonic ideas. Of which perhaps one will become a finished song. Such is the way of things.

I’m one of about 10 people in Canada who heard this album and loved it.

He recorded that song for a high-budget promotional video for the U.S. Navy (aka Top Gun) during the presidency of Ronald Reagan. Remember when Reagan increased spending on the military so much it tripled the national debt? Good times. Kenny wasn't complaining then, was he? He was getting paid.
