Living 150-145 million years ago in the Late Jurassic, they were the most common carnivorous dinosaur in North America. Also the biggest.

The Allosaurus could open its jaw so wide, it's speculated they slashed prey with their upper jaw like a hatchet. 🦖

The Texas State dinosaur is the Paluxysaurus jonesi! This 70 ft, 60 ton brachiosaurus wandered around at the end of the Early Cretaceous (65-150 million years ago).🦕

Paluxysaurus jonesi belonged to the Sauroposeidon genus or 'earthquake god lizard', they were some of the tallest known dinosaurs.

He's just a little guy 🥹
