Which stranded #prepositions are you most and least adverse to fronting when #writing something formal? For example, "What did he ask ABOUT?" (stranded) vs "ABOUT what did he ask?" (fronted).

University of Essex staff are on day 2 of strike action to stop proposed cuts to 400 jobs across all departments (200 academics/2000 professional services staff)
our Language & Linguistics Department has been told to cut 50% of staff by the summer
Unofficially, definitely, officially with reimbursement, probably 😃 Ask your supervisor. Because you are in an official masters programme, right? I'm employed at the equivalent of a Swedish national corpus dept, but it's not called that.
