Thank you. Yes I know about it.
If youβre still on X too Iβd recommend looking at @planktonpundit for some wonderful but scary videos of the marine environment. π
Iβm trying to bring home & recycle at least one bit of litter every day out. A can, a bottle, a plastic wrapper. Rinse & recycle. Anyone else up for joining in please? β»οΈπ―

RSPB Blacktoft sands visit today. Tundra bean goose and spoonbill first of the year but biggest thrill was a grass snake, not a bird but still great to see! @rspb.bsky.social @rspbblacktoftsands.bsky.social @bbcspringwatch.bsky.social #BirdsSeenIn2026

02.03.2026 20:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0A photo of a booklet being held out with a landscape in the background and watercolour birds around. The text on the front cover reads 'Figham Common' Bird Report 2025β
Five pages of the report layered on top of each other. Featuring text, illustrations and photographs on a dark green background.
The bird report that Iβve been writing about my #patchbirding is now out!
It includes many months of research, writing, illustrations, and photographs from the local community too. It is free to look through and I hope a nice read even for those not local π¦

YWT Paull Holme Strays.
Great to see & hear an abundance of life, the sizeable flocks of Curlew & huge skeins of Pink footed geese pictured.
Plenty of barn owls & a couple of Short Eared.
