All n all my feelings are "Via has every right to be upset because Stolas has failed her and her life is crumbling but much (not all!) of her rage is misdirected, manipulated and missing key info and she has room to grow just like Stolas does"

Like the fact that he Didn't love her mother and never could. Via shows here she has No idea that her father has been abused by her mother her whole life. She lays that anger on Stolas for not loving his abuser and rapist. Because he protected her from it like a good dad.

That Via is a child and so can do or say no wrong. Via is almost 18 and has plenty she can come to understand as well as Stolas.

Yeah girl he did because your culture forced him to do that & honestly surprised he could get a divorce as easily as he could. I don't villainize Stolas or Via here because there's no antagonist. Their povs and actions both make sense and Stolas fucked up but I'm also not in the camp of thinking

The very phrasing of her anger as "you don't love me" which is absolutely not true shows that a good chunk of her issues are still rooted in the childish belief that she is and should remain her parents only focus as well as her twisting her father's misery into oh so you only stayed for me. Like,

And that has nothing to do with the execution itself which is the only part I commented on. I think all of Via's feelings are valid & Stolas did a terrible job meeting her needs through present day series but she's also more or less an adult by now and she has a lot to grapple with about her culture

And she can resent it all she wants but I'm of the opinion that Stolas gave her as good a childhood as she could and now that she's grown it's time for her to realize her father is a gay adult forced into a comphet marriage and deserves his own life.

Also I'm not even gonna be subtle if your main ship in Hellaverse is het I don't trust you
