We have a red-breasted nuthatch visiting our feeders. They are typically further north. It’s a nice surprise and distraction.

We have both in our yard right now! What a treat- the red breasted is a rarity

I agree. I see more and more of them, but every sighting makes my heart thump.

I did not follow Mikie Sherrill’s campaign, but I heard she was centrist. I keep seeing that Mamdani’s policies are the future of our country but he wouldn’t be elected in Iowa.

My daughter went to Allegheny College in PA. Presenting was a cornerstone to her degree in neuroscience. So glad she has that foundation because she’s become good at it and does it all the time in her pursuit of her PhD. I’m surprised to see this because it has not been her experience.

How can “pro-lifers” make sense of this cruelty, the bombing of boats in the Caribbean, the suffering and death caused by USAID cuts, food insecurity caused by the loss of SNAP benefits, or federal worker’s lives destroyed due to mass firings? How do they square that circle??

Not asserting anything- just expressing my shock in his behavior. Why am I even surprised though??
