Ableism teaches us that we have to hide our disabilities.

Self acceptance means we stop hiding.

We won’t go gently for the comfort of others.

It isn’t too many bows so long as you can still move, breathe, and stuff. Being able to see is optional.

It’s a rainy day. Not ideal for being out in it. And yeah, I could sit here and be miserable, but instead inspiration struck and I decided to give my devices a new wallpaper.

Sure, the “rain on a window” thing is so played out it hurts, but I still enjoyed doing this.

Living in the car is really bringing us both down. We’re not after some high end coach. Found one that we could have ready to load up and go for $7000. Yet that’s still so far out of reach.

No kidding. I’m in the early stages of hearing loss when speech processing can be iffy, and the auto-generated subtitles are so annoying. It’s refreshing to see creators like TC put effort into it. And I definitely appreciate the post-credits gags.

Through the years I’ve watched desktop Linux grow and change and improve, and I’m sorry but it’s still not ready for prime time. The Year of the Linux Desktop is still out of reach as of yet. You or I can get right to it, sure, but imagine plopping grandma down in front of it vs an iPad.
