We had pride in our country. Pride we carried within ourselves. Pride that was not tied to a symbol.

The pride we felt within could not be desecrated, could not be hijacked by others for their own purposes, it was ours and it was shared.

Everyone talks about the Australia that they miss. Well, let me share what I miss.
