Depends quite a bit on where you get them. Our local bakery does amazing ones. Even the Dunkin ones are okay, if a bit more inconsistent. One of my plants does meat & cheese ones for Dunkin, which I don't eat. The dough laminator is just a fascinating piece of equipment, and they do use real butter
