Newer comics generally stick to explicitly story arcs and each issue feels like part of a movie, while older super hero comics are written much more issue by issue, even when part of a story arc, and something like lee/kirby f4 often flows into new stories ending the previous issues story

With all the newer superhero comics I've been keeping up with or reading, going back the past couple days and reading a bunch of really old comics is really interesting with how the stories are structured

Been wanting to hit this one ever since finishing Blue Gender a little while back.

First episode was trippy as fuck. A huge chunk of it is devoted to a Noh dance that then becomes some weird summoning ritual that then turns into a knife fight between two Noh performers.

I'm a few episodes in, very weird mecha show, but like, weird in an endearing way

This makes me want him to always be inexplicably bigger than the trailer in robot mode
