Nice summary - this one is great. I had it as my top pick on "Underrated TNG" on TrekRanks a long time ago. Suave, confident Barclay is fun.

This scene between Jack and Picard is powerful, but also challenging. I originally had struggled with how poorly Picard handled the situation, how irrational Jack seemed to be acting, and also how easily Jack escaped. Solution: write to work through it :)

From the behind the scenes vignette on rebuilding the Enterprise-D bridge. Gates chilling with her feet up in the first officer's chair makes me laugh.

That does sound like key lime pie. Yum!

On the Borg ship, Worf rushes to rescue Captain Picard, phaser in hand. Beverly starts to follow. Shelby and Data are behind her in the tight access way of the Borg cube.

Beverly charges toward Jean-Luc, but Data holds her back and pulls her back to the remainder of the Away Team, as Shelby calls for an immediate beam out.

I love this moment where Bev sees Jean-Luc and immediately starts after him, but is stopped by Data. It's not in the script. This is an actor knowing her character and what they'd do instinctively. #StarTrekTNG

My first two thoughts on this before listening were "The Pegasus" (can't believe that had only been picked once before?!) - an OG Picard/Riker conflict ep which is very unsettling - and "Imposters," so, nice picks Jim 😊 So many good ones on this - really enjoyed it!

Just was watching this one tonight with some of my kids. I love that Picard keeps the Mintakan tapestry on his desk chair for years.
