Not in any detail! From what I'm gathering, the photos still live somewhere else, and then you organize in tropy? So I'd still be plugging my phone into my computer and uploading somewhere? And tropy is primarily for metadata, transcription, etc?

I'm going to France for the first time since 2018! Biggest question (besides what pants do we wear now??): How are we getting photos onto computers? I always just took archive photos with my iphone and then made them into pdfs by box, but... is there a better way?

An incomplete list: inviting still-living subjects to come to my talks; pretending "Notes" in archive boxes are addressed to me (breaking down that 4th wall!); not bringing lunch to Pierrefitte; meeting my idols; reading the whole monograph; assuming everyone else knows what they're doing...

Crowdsourcing class planning: Has anyone found a way to screen Tirailleurs for their students? It's on bluray in France, but is it here?
