And one more thing I forgot to mention, the USDA is not only holding their contingency funds for SNAP, but telling every state that if they use their own state funds to cover their SNAP benefit residents, they won't be reimbursed for it from the USDA. This is cruel, heartless & inhumane.

I'm just as surprised as anyone that I am a single, senior who has been looking for work for a year. I had 2 job offers from govt contractors rescinded bc this administration decided I was just a DEI hire instead of a seasonal IT Mgr of nearly 30 yrs. SNAP has kept my rapidly diminishing ass fed.
