Exactly. That’s what I and many others had to do to get down to the shops / sorting office / McD. It’s horrid trying to cross 3 lanes of busy traffic onto a narrow path. But was the only way. The scheme was a complete fuck up in my view.

Sat in a micropub resisting the temptation to correct the “know it all” that sat on table next to me and proceeded to inform his guests all the wrong things about beer.

Frankly, outrageous that they closed it for so long (with no ped diversion), and then reopened it unfinished and dangerous.

Wow. This is where we are at. Shift to the right is complete. Door open for Fartage et el to sweep in. We thought the country was fucked under the Tories, apparently we ain’t seen nothing yet.

I reckon more wards in the same borough will go green next year. Not only has the party centrally (national level) chosen a right wing mantra, locally they have chosen to ignore residents.

Guess who isn’t in Camra’s Good Beer Guide for another year?! Yes, it’s us! Luckily we know we serve good beer and we will continue to do so even if our local branch members don’t seem to recognise that.

The music stand on (attached to) the piano has been stolen, yesterday, we think. Confused not only for why, but also how?!

I’m up town today. Found a ‘cafe & bar’ to retreat to for a few min. Asking for a packet of crisps “salt and vinegar maybe”has turned into me getting fries with vinegar. #confuzzed

Exactly. The land in Thamesmead by the river is still safeguarded - legacy from Thames Gateway if not before. Equally Thamesmead base design of roads is car centric (and of its time). No need for endless dual carriageways these days.
