Former three-term New Jersey senator is the first to be found guilty of acting as a foreign agent
Today: Bob Menendez, former New Jersey senator & chair of Foreign Relations Committee who became the first sitting senator to be convicted of acting as a foreign agent, cried while asking a judge for leniency.
He was then sentenced to 11 years in prison.
