After a little further consideration, I believe I'll instead build a base AROUND haldor with raised earth walls, and make my current base into just a boar farming island.

Now that I found Haldor, though, I'm kind of thinking about building a base near him in the black forest, tbh.

This was my return trip after finding the dverger trader "haldor" in the black forest, then setting up a portal between his settlement and my base.

Valheim really is such a beautiful game, man.
