Frankly, PBS is about the only thing worth watching on broadcast tv these days. What a shame that we’re pissing away this country’s crown jewels on paranoia & settling scores. When the smoke clears, no one will be better off for it.

Music matters, folks. Look at all the love people have from all walks of life for a weirdo like Ozzy. And I mean “weirdo” with the utmost reverance. The dude created a genre of catchy tunes that withstood 6 decades.

The ‘greed is good’ gang are in a firing squad death spiral. The future belongs to those who have integrity and care deeply about the world and each other. Team work is how we got here and it’s the only way out.

The only creative advice I have is this: stay curious, have fun, and pursue your vision with dogged determination. No one gets anywhere by doubting themselves or giving up—and you definitely won’t get far by listening to what everyone else thinks you should do.

I try to temper my outrage at this temporary regime with being helpful and sharing the things that bring me joy. We’re all just doing the best we can—some of us more than others, right?

I love making tunes sound better.

Lots of armchair quarterbacking and handwringing on the left about the “best” candidate. To me, it’s whoever speaks to their constituents’ real needs. Period. The hypocrisy, posturing, and performative nonsense—no matter the side—isn’t it.
