This is pretty much my experience, too. I baby 'em and fix 'em, and last year's winter suit, is next year's fall suit, etc. But at a certain point, it's off to the recycler either way.

anywho i blew through 20k words on the fiction thing which is fun and sorta ridiculous. a nice side effect of having a weird fiction thing is that it's made the rest of my work flow more readily and like, faster? not a revelation! but still! the more you write, the more you can write.
