To be honest, I’m still not sure how to feel either.

Yesterday, my school loan holder told me my loan was 210 days past due, due to them suddenly reversing every payment I made this year, and that I was in danger of it going into default.

Today, apparently, that same loan has been forgiven and completely written off.

Any of the Lego games. They’re amazing, especially the earlier ones. As they got more open world they went down in quality IMHO. My girls like playing Stardew Valley together. Not sure how that would go for a 6yo tho.

Finally got around to playing Unmatched: Tales to Amaze today. My team of Houdini, Tesla, Sherlock Holmes, and Deadpool took on the team of Mothman and friends. I…did not fair well.

Had a lot of fun though! Glad I can play the game solo now….

And then I watched Creature Commandos and fuck you for the Chasing Squirrels episode…. 😭

I’m not a maths guy, so when I realized the game needed a points system I got anxious about it and overthought it….

I mean in my head. I think that it should be more complicated than it really is…but it can be just single points here and there….

I guess it’s more of a problem with assigning values to the various cards and balancing that out. Ie. If The “actor” card is worth 1 point, I play “Triple Threat” as an enhancement to increase its worth. How to balance that out with other cards…

It’s actually a combo coop/take that in my mind.

Yeah, it’s like at 10 pnts, the musical gets staged everyone wins, but if it reaches 15 pnts, the player who contributes the most is the sole winner. If by the end, it’s 5 pnts or less, the person who contributed the most is the loser. Secret pnts are gained to prevent players from tanking the game.

It’s a semi-co-op where players are working together to produce a musical. They’re working towards a certain point total, but there are hidden objective additional points/multipliers as whoever has the most points is either the winner or loser, depending on what point score they reach.

What is the best way to come up with a point system for a game? The game I’m working on needs a scoring system based on cards worth different points and multipliers, but I can’t get my head around how to set the points up….

If it’s a good beard, it will deal with itself.
