The door isn’t locked. Actually, the door isn’t even closed. It’s cracked open a hand-width with light spilling out enticingly into the dark hallway. It’s an invitation, really. Or at the very least a taunt. Viktor is sure that it definitely can’t be an accident. Not when they’ve lived together this long, knowing each other’s schedules and habits inside out. Viktor stills with the hand on the handle of the bathroom door. Jayce knows Viktor is home. Jayce knows Viktor is home and still he left the bathroom door open. Privacy is admittedly barely a concept in their roommateship, the boundaries of their friendship are more a vague blur than anything resembling defined lines. So, this wouldn’t even be such a big deal, if Jayce were doing mundane things in there. Except he isn’t.

Viktor has watched enough porn to recognize the unmistakable sound of someone having a passionate self-care session. Jayce is, without a doubt, jerking off in there. Which is cool. Fine. So very normal, even. Or it would be, with a closed and locked door. A lesson they’ve learned so early in their cohabitating relationship, that there is no way Jayce would forget about it out of the blue. So, Viktor concludes, it has to be on purpose. It’s the only reason he doesn’t politely ignore the situation like a decent room mate would. Instead, on an adrenaline and curiosity fueled whim, he nudges the door a little, widening the field of vision so he can peek into the room from the relative obscurity of the unlit hallway.

The view isn’t a surprise, clearly spoiled by the sounds he already overheard, and still Viktor is caught off guard momentarily. Jayce is hunched over the bathroom sink, boxers bunched on the floor around his ankles and forehead pressed to the ceiling high mirror, harsh pants fogging his own reflection. His tank top is pushed up by one hand, fingers digging into what Viktor knows is a beautifully plush pectoral muscle. Jayce is also tall enough that he can easily use the other hand to fist his erection above the sink, the rounded marble rim digging into his thighs but not obstructing movement or view. Arousal feels like a gut punch, blood rushing in violent throbs to Viktor’s crotch as he watches—for a few debilitating heartbeats—as Jayce jerks himself off in frantic, quick strokes. Jayce’s eyes, usually a charmingly glinting hazel, are dark in a half lidded stare at himself. In a shaky movement, a strand of pre-cum drips from his cock into the sink, and with a low groan Jayce leans in further, lips parting and catching on the damp surface of the mirror, a wet approximation of a kiss to his twin image.
