Almost certainly an oversimplification, but we can add this question to the fact that the style of football the coach has is playing is horrendous to watch and it’s enough for me to want a change.

Once is unlucky. Twice is really unlucky. 3 times is exceptionally bad luck. 5 times isn’t luck anymore imo, it’s mentality or lack thereof. Either this group of players are mentally weak (seems unlikely given they won the league less than 10 months ago), or the coach is not the right guy anymore.

If this is the plan, you might as well have Gakpo and Salah swap sides so that at least they can swing in crosses without having to cut back onto their strong foot.

Slot’s tendency to completely alienate the players he doesn’t favour is probably my least favourite quality of his. It isn’t constructive.

Thought both Ngumoha (not surprising), and Nyoni (pleasantly surprising) had excellent cameos as well. Not sure what to think of the fact Trey came on and Curt didn’t, though.
