A photo of mother iris tubers making new daughters in seed trays on my garage floor. Wont people discard mothers when dividing as they will not broom again, but the will continue to make more daughters which will either this season or next depending an size! These will get divided off and potted up a bit later in spring to grow up!
A photo of various hydrangea cuttings waking up. Some are further along than others, some still look mostly dead! If memory serves I have about ten different varieties here. These will spend this year summer growing and I may find new plant parents for them this fall!
Babies! Discarded mothers from last year making me new tiny daughters for me to grow up! These are just sitting in trays with about an inch of soil. Iris are amazing plants. Also the baby hydrangea cuttings from fall are waking up! π±π·

Trumpβs former AI adviser Dean W Ball: βNvidia, Amazon, Google will have to divest from Anthropic if Hegseth gets his way. This is simply attempted corporate murder. I could not possibly recommend investing in American AI to any investor; I could not possibly recommend starting an AI co. in the US.β

A photo of a Jury's Yellow camellia bloom. A fully-double, white flower with a ruffled center of yellow petaloids.
A small iris reticulata in bloom. Pale creamy white flower with pale blues, purples and yellow coloring.
A pot consisting of deep purple anemones, with a bright orange ranunculus. Please ignore the cat food, we feed cat friends!
Some flowers! Jury's yellow camilla started blooming, an iris reticulata, and a bowl of ranunculus and anemones. Although very early it is feeling very much like spring. Got out and started cleaning potted plants today, need to finally do the roses this weekend. π±π·

The Constitution clearly gives Congress the power to spend taxpayer funds, and no law allows the president to halt if he feels some US states arenβt being βgood stewardsβ of the money.
In case thereβs any confusion on this, the Impoundment Control Act forbids it.
Taxation without representation.

it's 2016: north carolina introduces a bill to ban trans people from using bathrooms safely. there's a national outcry; companies withdraw business up to and including the NCAA cancelling a publicized game. the bill fails.
it's 2026: kansas passes a law nullifying trans people's licenses. crickets.

Hi,
The President has no authority to determine how states conduct their elections, not even if he manufactures a crisis involving Chinese interference. This will fail. Bigly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

One of the new camellias purchased last year and finally putting on its blooms. Not the best light under the covered patio on a rainy grey day.
