Huge sigh of relief.

Update: Kiddo will be attending an intensive outpatient program within the next month. It lasts 2 weeks, but it's drop off and pick up in the same day, and it's a lot of group work w/kids their own age, as well as mental health professionals.

So we are moving in the right direction 💛

Sometimes it's all you can do.

Y'all, the past weeks have been SO MUCH. Nothing big on my goals this week, other than to keep marketing preorders for my cyberpunk Snow White.

Next week is Spring Break, and I'm really hoping to get some writing in then. Still, that's for next week.

Some things like that just have to be made with that much sugar. It's just a consistency thing.

It's very possible. I've never been a big sweets person, which makes me wonder if that's why I can't stomach anything outside of sugar.

Even too much sugar can make me feel ick. I totally understand that it isn't that way for everyone. I'm a smidge jealous of folks who can have the other stuff! 😂

I know it's a small gripe, but having to check every new drink or food I want to try to make sure there's no stevia or sucralose is frustrating.

Seeing the look of dismay on my spouse or kiddo's face when they get me something they thought I'd love but it has something other than sugar just sucks.

I wish US food folks would understand that they could just put less sugar in the food, they don't have to put in artificial or non-sugar sweetener. Just make whatever it is less sweet. 😭
