This is so irresponsible and absurd, it should make me angry but mainly I’m sad. All the billions of dollars we spend to make medicine incrementally better, and all the scientists and technicians who devote their lives to the work… 1/

Dear All
Have you seen Prof Biscuit recently?

Professor Biscuit is roaming Main Building or more likely, is asleep somewhere cosy. Have you seen him recently? If so, could he be persuaded to be returned to the Bursary, please?

They're also responsible for one of the best emails I've ever received, when the college office sent out a plea for sightings of Professor Biscuit while conveniently forgetting to mention that he was a cat...(I won't comment on how often a similar email might have gone out about human Professors...)

Anyone running a bar who doesn't realise that is probably running a crap bar, though, so no real loss. Also, it's Altrincham, so my money was already on it being crap...

Pretty sure you can't do language degrees at Imperial, either. Then again, I've never really considered Imperial a "proper" university...

I just revisited Tony Blair's 'forces of conservativism' conference speech in 1999 - two years into office. It's such a clear headed narration that balances people's continued frustration and what the government had delivered.

Wombat architecture critics.

Text below says WENN'S MAL WIEDER SCHNELL GEHEN MUSS (When you need to move fast)

Underneath is more German text which translates as "The BΓΆcker Agilo transports your treasures weighing up to 400kg at 42m/min - quiet as a whisper."

The German company that makes the mechanical ladder used in the Louvre heist has used the image to advertise, with the text 'When you need to move fast'

Spare some love today for Collingwood. The other Admiral at Trafalgar.

Proud northerner. Hater of flogging. Legit brilliant commander and Nelson's trusted right hand. First into battle on Royal Sovereign. Took charge after Nelson was sniped and saved the British Fleet.

Here's HIS Trafalgar... /1 🧡
