In 2020, trump said it was “stupid” that America spent trillions on Middle East conflicts while our healthcare, roads, and schools needed fixing.

Now look what he’s doing.
Same wars. Same costs.
Same neglect at home.

The only thing that changed was the excuse.

Read these words from 100 years ago about immigrants in Britain – and see how history is chillingly repeating itself | George Monbiot Shabana Mahmood’s new rights clampdown looks outlandish until we remember that this kind of hardline action is part of our country’s fabric, says George Monbiot

The precedent is eerily, chillingly precise. What the current Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood is doing to immigrants and refugees today is almost a carbon copy of what Sir William Joynson-Hicks was doing 100 years ago. And that's not a good thing. My column.

Quietly, calmly and forensically, BBC just dismantled the Trump communications shitshow on Iran.

No hyperbole, just laying out an unprecedented military, diplomatic and reputational shambles.

Worth a watch.

2 am and I can’t sleep…because shit like this keep me up at night.

As of this moment the WH has not ordered U.S. flags lowered for the 6 service members killed in a drone strike in Kuwait.

On Sept 10th, 2025, the flag was lowered 5 hrs after Charlie Kirk was shot.

Yes, I’m f’n outraged!

This war on Iran is a case study in an administration that believes it has the means - and therefore the moral authority - to do whatever it wants.

It could have assembled a case, enlisted allies, stuck to a script.

But it can't be bothered, because it feels that to all be unnecessary.

This is a good analogy. Very useful in carefully controlled settings for specific usages, but unfortunately being widely inserted into everything and used without training or PPE and poisoning a lot of things and people and we’re going to pay a tonne of money to remove it safely in the future

We paid an ex-Tory MP to lobby for our fake Chinese firm - and authorities did nothing Investigation finds no rules were broken. It just goes to show how few rules there are.

Last week, UK lobbying regulator closed investigation into ex Tory MP Ben Howlett

We offered Howlett money to work for a fake Chinese investor. He introduced us to a dozen Labour MPs

Regulator didn't even speak to us. Our system is broken

PATHETIC!

So after all Trump’s whining about the “Biden autopen”, and forcing investigations, even though he uses one himself, they couldn’t build a case.

Not because they didn’t try. But because there was no case to build.

Trump’s lightbulb moment: America needs Europe after all The U.S. is even looking to Ukraine to help its operations against Iran — as Trump rages at Starmer and Sánchez for refusing to back his war.

Having spent a year criticizing, insulting and threatening European leaders, Donald Trump now sees the value of having friends in strategically important places.

That is, if they have military assets he can use.

Trump: The United States Munitions Stockpiles have, at the medium and upper medium grade, never been higher or better - As was stated to me today, we have a virtually unlimited supply of these weapons. Wars can be fought "forever," and very successfully, using just these supplies (which are better than other countries finest arms!). At the highest end, we have a good supply, but are not where we want to be. Much additional high grade weaponry is stored for us in outlying countries. Sleepy Joe Biden spent all of his time, and our Country's money, GIVING everything to P.T. Barnum (Zelenskyy!) of Ukraine
- Hundreds of Billions of Dollars worth - And, while he gave so much of the super high end away (FREE!), he didn't bother to replace it.
Fortunately, I rebuilt the military in my first term, and continue to do so. The United States is stocked, and ready to WIN, BIG!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD

Trump insists the U.S. has plenty of munitions by writing “we have a virtually unlimited supply” and making us all think of the term forever war.

“Wars can be fought ‘forever,’ and very successfully, using just these supplies…”

He also refers to Zelensky as P.T. Barnum.
