Sometimes I think about Hinako's Robbie costume in Silent Hill F and I get annoyed because they just made it SO pink on a level that's jarring.

If they made the skirt red and the socks white, I think it would have worked a lot better, since Robbie wears red overalls and has white parts on his face.

Yeah then that's probably exactly what it is then-- installing two versions of a game in one so the 50 GB becomes 100 LOL

I've heard it's because instead of having like... english and japanese language patches and stuff for cutscenes, they just have duplicates of the cutscenes instead with one english and one japanese, so you're essentially installing two versions of the game in one.

dunno how factual that is though.

I'm not sure, but Koei Tecmo I notice is a bit odd when it comes to optimization and download sizes compared to other games.

For example it takes about 100GB to install Nioh 2 and 3 (not sure about Nioh 1 but I assume the same) while Elden Ring only takes like 50.

to be fair I come from bloodborne, and every other fromsoftware game I've played after was played on steamdeck and xbox one, so 30 fps is nothing new to me at all LOL

I only have a laptop so I don't get to play games on 60 fps very much at all.

But yeah, couldn't hurt to wait and see how you feel about it later.

I can see how it might look similar to F, but I believe it will play quite differently considering Fatal Frame games tend to be more relaxed and slower paced than Silent Hill games (including F). Mind you, I'm speaking from an OG-fatal-frame-games POV, the remake might do things differently LOL.

It's not nioh-3 unplayable and thats what matters LOL

Tried it. Only played for like 15 minutes cuz I want to sit down and play the whole game when it comes out.

It's definitely playable and the 30 fps and the small framerate drops in cutscenes don't bother me I guess cuz I'm used to playing these games on my steamdeck LOL
