I'm a trans woman applying for jobs at the moment and it feels like employers are being scared off hiring people like me. Other trans jobseekers are also noticing some job applications containing obligatory questions that (actually illegally) compel applicants to divulge their trans status.

I would really like to know what theatres, as employers, are doing about this, given not just permanent venue staff but countless performers will be impacted by this.
