The latest results put Dixit 53 votes ahead of Bingle, less than half a percentage point. If the margin stays this slim, it will move to a hand recount.

If Dixit (Spokane city council) and Wilson (Seattle mayor) both win, I’m putting it out into the universe that I desperately want to hop on a podcast or a call with Seattle reporters and analyze the campaigns!

Ballots are still being counted and we’re still in this race! We have the tightest race in the county, so every vote seriously counts. Check your ballot status at VoteWA.gov and fix any issues ASAP. Stay tuned!

After the third day of counting, progressive Sarah Dixit is continuing to catch up to conservative Jon Bingle.

They’re now separated by just 68 VOTES!

Sarah Dixit: 4,826 (49.5%)
Jonathan Bingle: 4,894 (50.2%)

If elected, Dixit would be our Council’s sixth true progressive.
