Finally starting to play through Expedition 33. I absolutely loved Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, it was definitely my pick for game of the year but so far Clair Obscur is absolutely living up to its GOTY hype. It’s been an awesome year for gaming!

I’ve been so down and out after my surgery last January. Trying hard to get back up. It’s a constant battle for getting enough physical therapy and getting my strength back up so I can regularly do pinball tournaments again.

There have been many setbacks but I’m still doing my best to get back out.

I’m very educated and aware of how addictive they are when I was being prescribed 160 methadone and 180 norco 10s a month back in the 00s. I worked my dosages down and cut them out of my life a decade ago.

This isn’t where I want to be either and it’s just a temporary necessary evil.

I get it. We have an opioid crisis. They didn’t seem to give two shits about it back in the 00’s when they were being handed out like candy since big pharma was encouraging doctors to push them as hard as they could. That said today’s policies make it a nightmare for people who want to manage pain.

I’ve managed to avoid this for 10 years. The way the D.E.A. gets to step in between me and my caregivers and play god, and if it’s not them it’s the insurance companies.
