From the QUB3 in Belfast, to the Mothers Against Genocide arrested in Dublin, to the SOAS2 and Filton 18 in Britain, we are all part of the same struggle.

Ethan, one the QUB3, will lead a discussion on ongoing struggles against repression and how we can support these.

We'll be joined by a guest speaker from the Connolly Youth Movement who will give some historical background on the repression of solidarity activists.

We thank everyone who has expressed support, chatted to us about the campaign and signed one of our template letters. We thank our comrades in Glasgow, Manchester and Gorey who have been gathering signatures locally.

In the week since we've launched our campaign we have gathered approx. 250 signed letters to the PPS 💌

This message was recorded in Gorey, Co. Wexford where Mary spoke at an International Working Women's Day event on the role working class women play in the struggle against oppression and exploitation.

Mary was one of the women working in Dunnes Stores who went on strike in 1984 for the right to refuse to handle goods from apartheid South Africa, and has remained a staunch advocate for international justice since.

3. The banning of all zionists and arms companies on campus

4. No repercussions for student activists and the lifting of the ban on Youth Demand students

Both QUB and Glasgow University must act now to divest completely from war-profiteers and give justice to their students!

The students top demands are:

1. Immediate and unconditional divestment from arms companies

2. The cutting of research ties to arms companies

Glasgow University also has millions tied up with the arms manufacturers and warmongers profiting off of militarism and the genocide in Palestine, and has partnerships with the likes of Thales, BAE Systems, and Lockheed Martin.

Students at Glasgow University occupied part of their university and renamed it to the Dar Ahmad Manasra Building to raise awareness of the 23 year old Ahmad Manasra who has been imprisoned since the age of 13, and has been in solitary confinement since 2022.

Clare spoke at an event in Belfast last night on the growing threat of militarisation and how this relates to the struggle for women's liberation. Militarism, war and imperialist aggression is something that affects all of us, and we all have a duty to fight against it.
