We finished our read aloud of Holes. It is always a joy to go on this journey with a group of students. There is absolutely nothing in the world quite like the classroom read aloud.

In today’s word it may be hard to find time for the read aloud, but we CANNOT afford not to. Read aloud is life!

Since I’m still feverish every night I need a book that’s easy to fall into. This one is perfect.

People were super mad when our city tore down its original main branch instead of ‘renovating’.

The ground underneath was worth more than the building. It was 4 stories with an open center area from top to bottom. Heating/air conditioning/ noise/ trying to run internet cable through stone walls.

A great interview AND Nicholas Day casually mentions he’s working on a book about Charles Ponzi…yeah that guy.

I think I know what’s going to happen. Remains to be seen if I’m right.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Yeah I’m looking for my dog (girlfriend who has a restraining order against me and she has a dog) and here’s the picture of the dog (she walks this dog and I can use it to figure out her schedule) thanks for sending all footage my way
