Glifthp was unsettling, even by orc standards.
Based on the “Shrieking Greeter” of my childhood comic shop. The Greeter would sit by the entrance, welcoming guests with a frozen, silent grimace. Like a gargoyle warding off evil spirits. He was a silent guardian…a watchful protector…a dork knight.
Me: "Is it a latex mold?"
Bakker: "A mold of the Allosaur pubis which had been torn loose by the Stegosaur's Thagomizer."
Me: ". . ."
I couldn't have scripted a better meeting with one of my life-long Paleontological heroes.
