Last night, Portland City Council unanimously passed its 'Protect Portland' Initiative resolution AND @councilorkanal’s ordinance to codify Portland's status as a Sanctuary City into law.

We passed both of these *unanimously* tonight. Thanks to everyone who turned up tonight to join in denouncing this administration and supporting the case for codifying our commitment to protecting our immigrant neighbors.
