i had a very similar realization a couple months ago since at work i guess i wouldn't emote that much when listening to people and was asked constantly if i understood what they were saying. of course i understand, i'm paying attention and holding eye contact, do i need to show it on my face?

Most basic fucking line in politics and I’m sick of arguing with people who claim to be left of center about it.

The whole Platner business is a great reminder that you don't need to give people grace because of "what's in their heart" or because they may have "meant well"

This first one has a pretty decent job they are damn good at, a car, a very vibrant love life, and has been complimented for how well they speak.

I think there is some truth to the fact that certain groups that claim to fight antisemitism have damaged their credibility by labeling too much criticism of Israel as antisemitism. But a lot of people are way too gleeful that this means they no longer have to pretend to care about antisemitism.

If you’re ever stressed and depressed, just remember that there is nothing preventing you from learning everything about sharks.

You can learn every kind, where they live, what they eat. Make your child self proud.
