The vast majority of the time when I suggest to a client they might be autistic, the reaction is something along the lines of a relieved "Oh so THAT'S why people are so irrational!" Very few are hesitant, and if so it's usually because they have something like impostor syndrome about it.

What does that have to do with MY choice not to use AI? My CV is fine. I wish they’d look at it themselves, but I can’t control that. My writing is far better than what I see my peers producing with AI, & I feel lucky that I learned to write before it became a thing.

The word “resilience” made me groan out loud. I can’t be the only late-dx autistic woman traumatized by constant, unmeetable demands for “resilience.” Just gotta toughen up, ladies! Stop being so hysterical & demanding! 2/3
